 Hi All...

I want to know ASM instance is communicating with Database Instance. When a user inserts some rows in table which background process is writing the data in ASM files.

Another question is i have exported a full database in oracle 9i using traditional exp utility. Now i want to import the full database in oracle 10g.

How to transport a tablespace from one database to another database.

Sandeep

ASM Instance communicates with Database Instance by the ocssd (Oracle Cluster Support Services daemon).
